Traverse City, Michigan: Traverse City Film Festival Features Outdoor Movie Screenings
The Traverse City Film Festival is back again, and will run through Sunday. New movies are screened at 5 venues, but the highlight of the festival are the outdoor movies on an inflatable screen shown at the Open Space.
The festival has attracted celebrities, filmmakers, and film critics from around the globe, but Traverse City residents and visitors love to outdoor film screenings. "Traverse City is incredibly passionate about film and movies," said Bob Deutsch, president of Outdoor Movies, a Washington, D.C.-based company that's handling lighting, sound and screen chores at the Open Space.
