Brisbane Open Air Cinema returns to the South Bank Rainforest Green for a season of live music, sparkling sunsets and films under the stars. Brisbane's outdoor movies are one of the top social events of the summer season. Audiences enjoy classic and new-release films in a state-of-the-art outdoor cinema. Outdoor film events include pre-show entertainment, food and drinks- everything you need for a perfect summer evening.
The cinematic season features an eclectic line-up of summer hits, retro favourites, eye-popping docos and much loved family favourites.
This year Brisbane Openair Cinema will feature accoustic bands and DJs playing from sunset each night (about 5.30pm). These sets will feature the creme of local talent, and some highlighted artists yet to be announced.
